The evolution of an historic brand in the automobile industry.Rhibo was founded in 1936 as a company specialised in producing vehicle parts for cars, bodywork - especially for tractors and trucks, bus seats and window (winder) control units. After many decades Rhibo began to specialise in the manufacture of spare parts for vehicles, and after more than 70 years since its start, it has become an undisputed leader in Italy with an After Market, Italy, share of 50%. In 1990 Rhibo amalgamated with FAMS, Parma and Maxicar, Turin. Nowadays Rhibo S.P.A. is part of Gruppo CSL, which has permitted the Bologna company to diversify significantly its production and products on offer, and due to this fact it obtained the ISO: 9002 certificate from TÜV Rheinland Italy, member of the TÜV Rheinland Group, an independent world leader of inspection and certification, not only for company production management but also for single products.

Most of Rhibo S.P.A.’s products are manufactured by Gruppo CSL, while others are made by subsidiaries strictly in compliance with quality requirements and in any case marketed by Rhibo S.P.A.
Quality and priceRhibo S.P.A. products impact hugely on the Italian market, where its products are used in repairs on over 2,000 vehicles a day, underlining the high quality and top level performance of the same products. This success is outstanding considering the complexity of the non-brand car body parts market and where mechanics tend to hold brand marks in esteem. Despite the competitive prices the after-market often risks being considered unreliable because of the low quality of products on offer. Rhibo S.P.A.’s products have overcome this problem, due to the pricing of the non-brand parts and the link to reliability and top quality: up to 40% can be saved in contrast to the brand car companies. In addition to this, Rhibo’s products have a low return for manufacturing faults – equal to 0,06% on sales.
